Music for People is dedicated to re-vitalizing your music-making and promoting music as a means of self-expression. We welcome everyone – regardless of musical experience. This is the sixth year we will gather at Wildacres, a beautiful retreat nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains.  We can accommodate a total of 30 folks, and we have sold out each year, so do not hesitate to register promptly to take advantage of what is already a subsidized fee!

From one of our regular participants after the last event...Once again, thank you so much for letting us get into the Wildacres celebration under the wire this year.  It was really terrific, and we both felt stretched and satisfied.  It didn't hurt at all that the weather was spectacular, and the quality of the food at Wildacres has definitely improved over the past couple of years.  It was also great to be able to play with so many different people - both from the past and those brand new to MFP - and to watch the newcomers gain courage and momentum as the sessions went by.  I think lots of us dared to do something new this year.  Of course, just getting to work with Harold and Rob is exciting and inspirational for me - they are both wise in so many ways - but I was also so glad to be in sessions again with Alison, Christy and Patrick, each one embodying the spirit of MfP in her/his own way and doing something helpful that we could take away with us. It seemed that everyone there shared in the same sort of spirit this year.
