Angela says “I sing stories, and my medium is jazz. I employ truth-telling in my singing. So when this trio gets together in this kind of intimate setting, the true meaning of the words, the intentions of the songwriters, the heart and soul of all involved are called in to play. And then we really get down and play! Scott’s ever-sensitive and tasty guitar work and Ron’s warm and grounding bass provide the foundation from which I’m able to explore and soar improvisationally through my favorite music - by songwriters from Tin Pan Alley to Joni Mitchell, Duke Ellington and beyond. It’s really special for me to sing with these two masterful gentlemen and I hope people will come out and let the music wash over them for a couple of hours, and get back to feeling ‘the good’ that only comes from live music.”
